Orthopedic Surgeon with a special focus on knee arthroscopy. Trained at Hadassah Hebrew University Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel, and currently Head of the Orthopedic Surgery Department at UEESCLINIC.
I am an orthopedic surgeon, trained at Hadassah Hebrew University Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel, and a medical graduate of Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.
Before my specialty training, I completed my internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital through the William J. Harrington Latin American Training Program. I then served as research director in Dr. Carlos Lavernia's Division of Arthritis Surgery, where I worked on scientific articles and papers for several journals and for presentations at medical meetings.
I have practiced surgery in Guayaquil and Samborondón since 2006. Since August 2021, I have been Head of the Orthopedic Surgery Department at UEESCLINIC.
My practice focuses on knee surgery, especially the arthroscopic treatment of anterior cruciate ligament, meniscus and cartilage injuries. I also treat shoulder conditions, fractures and sports injuries.
I remain committed to medical education as Adjunct Faculty of the William J. Harrington Program at the University of Miami.
